3D implantology
Rehabilitation with implants must be understood within the framework of a multidisciplinary team, new clinical criteria, innovation and therapeutic updating
Dra Lluïsa Solé
The loss of a tooth is also accompanied by a loss of bone and gum volume that can be very unsightly if we do not take it into account. For this reason, when we place implants, we must also regenerate these support structures. In this way we manage to return the function and aesthetics prior to the loss.
The clinic has a large team of highly trained specialists in the surgical and rehabilitative field to provide solutions to all situations, even the most complex and demanding both anatomically, functionally and aesthetically. If one day somebody told you that you could not put implants, come to consult us.

- Maximum quality : our implants are from leading brands in the sector
- Custom study in the case whether it's an implant or the entire mouth
- Team planning to get the best version of yourself
More than 30 years ago the first dental implants appeared, since then technology has given us new and better materials, more biocompatible and more aesthetic. And above all, predictability and safety in our surgeries that allow us to work faster and sometimes with minimal intervention.
It is 3D implantology or guided surgery
To do this, we work with three-dimensional digital images that help us plan exactly each case according to the functional and aesthetic result that is needed.
A custom made surgical splint according to the parameters that we have previously decided will guide us in the placement of the implants in this exact position. No intraoperative surprises and better post-operative.
TEETH IN ONE DAY
EXPERTS IN IMMEDIATE LOAD IMPLANTOLOGY
Our team is specialized in immediate loading implantology, commonly known as “teeth in one day”. It’s a surgical technique that allows to replace the lost teeth in a single day, avoiding patients long periods with temporary removable prosthetics, discomfort and cosmetic problems while the implants heal.
We have experienced professionals and specific technology that allows us to treat these cases with the maximum guarantees. The technique is indicated in patients who have lost all teeth or have them in very poor condition (pyorrhea, absence of numerous pieces …).
In these cases we can renew the complete denture, restoring health, chewing and aesthetics in a single day and significantly improving the experience of our patients since we avoid numerous visits and discomfort. We can also benefit from the advantages of this technique in partial cases where only one or more teeth are missing..
Tell us your problem and our team will offer you solutions. Clínica Dental Solé is a pioneer and benchmark in this type of procedure.
1
DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT PLAN
We evaluate the state of your mouth by taking radiographs, 3D scanners, photographs and models.
With this information we present you the different treatment options always in a clear and transparent way.
2
DEVELOPING THE NEW TEETH
Before the procedure, provisional fixed teeth are developed by selecting the appropriate shape, size and color so that the new teeth are integrated with your face perfectly.
3
IMPLANTS PLACEMENT
In a single session we place the implants and the new teeth. Painless, with local anesthesia and optionally with sedation. Patients can lead normal lives from the day after the intervention.
IMPLANT SOLUTIONS
Frequent asked questions
New technologies have allowed us to reduce the duration of dental implant treatment. Implant treatment begins with a visit in which the indicated diagnostic tests are performed.
A three-dimensional scanner will help us to place dental implants and provisional fixed teeth in a single day.
Next we have to wait an average of two months until the implant is integrated into the bone. At this time the process of manufacturing the crowns begins.
Many patients report fear or anxiety when it comes to placing the dental implant. Nowadays, thanks to the design of the new implants and new surgical techniques, the placement of these implants is a quick procedure in most cases and of course without any pain for the patient.
As we mentioned, the advancement of technology allows us, among other things, to be able to place, sometimes, the implant crown the same day of its placement, thus reducing the waiting time.
In short, we could summarize the procedure to carry out our dental implant in a safe, painless process with aesthetic and functional results of the highest quality.
Currently, there are resources to place dental implants in a totally painless way. With the help of local anesthesia and intravenous sedation, we get patients to feel absolutely nothing.
Once the implants are integrated, the new teeth are fixed in the implants and do not rest on the gum, which is much more comfortable and natural than traditional dentures.
The times when going to the dental clinic was a reason for fear and anxiety have practically disappeared as a result of the emergence of new surgical techniques and methods of anesthesia and sedation that make the visit to the dental clinic not a traumatic process.
As we indicated, the placement of the dental implant can be done through the use of local anesthesia, where the professional dentist carefully places the anesthesia in the intervention area. Once the anesthesia has taken effect, the patient will be able to relax, while the surgeon is working in the area, he will not feel any pain.
For those patients in whom fear or anxiety overcomes them and are unable to relax, it’s possible to place the implants through conscious sedation, where an anesthetist administers, intravenously, a combination of drugs that produce relaxation and blockage the patient pain. Recovery from this type of procedure is immediate, so the patient will be able to resume normal activities soon after leaving.
Lack of bone was a contraindication to implants a few years ago but today this is no longer a problem. With current techniques (sinus lift, bone grafts, etc.) implants can be placed in almost all patients.
Are reliable techniques that will return the lost volume, the functionality and in many occasions also the aesthetics.

Like natural teeth, dental implants must be cared for daily. It’s important to follow a correct brushing every day. It’s also recommended the use of dental floss, brushes and mouthwashes to ensure optimal cleaning.
The rule of two
All implantology experts agree that before to perform a dental implant treatment, the mouth must be healthy. It is especially important in those people who suffer from gum disease as this situation can affect the implant and shorten its half-life due to infection.
It’s important to know that both periodontal and peri-implant diseases can become dangerous for oral health, and even for general health, and lead to the loss of teeth and implants.
To avoid its appearance, dentists talk about what is known in the dental sector as the “Rule of Two“.
1 – Usually use two brushes: one conventional and the other interdental. The interdental is useful after the use of the conventional one, since it includes a greater cleaning in narrow and wide spaces.
2 – Brush your teeth at least twice a day with the help of dental floss.
3 – Follow an annual check-up program in the dental clinic so that the dentist supervises that the implants and the dental prosthesis are adjusted correctly and, if necessary, clean the plaque that may have accumulated around the dental implants.
